Amarilla Golf Club held the eighteenth annual President’s Day on Saturday 16th September 2007 as usual a full days entertainment was provided starting with breakfast and coffee and continuing throughout the day with food drinks and the usual barbecue. This was a long, full, day of golf, food, drink and sunshine which went on well into the night. The presentation of a vast amount of prizes was carried out by the Tavio family with some of the winners having liberally celebrated their success before the official prize giving.
Despite several scores of thirty eight and thirty nine points Amarilla Golf Club members only managed to collect one prize albeit the most important one, this was the ‘scratch’ prize which was won by ‘Badger’ Johnson. Well played Badger.
